This is one of the newest additions to Noreast Whips, the nylon Zorro Replica Bullwhip. It’s a replica of the whipSir Anthony Hopkins used in The Mask Of Zorro, in the cave where the famous candle-snuffing scene was shot.
The official length of the original Zorro bullwhip is reportedly 6 1/2 feet, not including the fall & cracker. This nylon version is offered in 6, 6 1/2, 7 & 8 foot lengths, and is available in two separate 16 plait models, one model with a leather fall & the other with a nylon fall.
Built on a 12 inch steel handle, this whip contains a shot-loaded (bb-load) core, 2 plaited bellies with a 16 plait overlay. It’s finished with an aluminum band placed near the top of the handle & a nickel-plated concho on the butt end. The band is plain with no engraving. Whip pictured below is 7 feet from butt to the end of the braided portion, finished with a black leather fall.
NOTE: Whips with leather falls, along with the cracker, add another 3 1/2 feet to the whip’s overall length. Nylon falls are shorter, typically adding 2 1/2 feet to the whip’s overall length.
